Steve Jaramillo/ Drums & Vocals-
A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Steve has been playing drums since the age of ten and continued on through his
senior year in high school. While serving four years in the United States Navy, Steve participated and performed briefly with
the Navy Drum & Bugle Corps. After his time in the military Steve also "jammed out" with a few musicians
around Albuquerque rekindling a passion for drumming. " Keeping this in mind, Steve acquired a second
generation drum kit from a buddy of his, and began honing his drumming skills. Since that point, he has taken drum
lessons from a couple of Albuquerque's finest drum instructors to further progress his skills, and
has not put down the sticks since January of 2001. The summer of that year, Steve, along with a fellow artists Daniel
Solis & Eric Wasson, founded the group "Rapid Fire". Daniel has moved on to pursue the dream
in Nashville, Tennesee in the summer of 2006. Since then Eric and Steve have pushed the band on keeping current with
learning new songs and also kept their favorites that have gotten R/F where they are to date of seven years. Steve
is a rockin' roller at heart where he admires the drumming skills of Mike Portnoy of "Dream Theater",
Neil Peart of "Rush", and Gavin Harrison of "Porcupine Tree" just to name of few of his favorites.
You can find Steve playing with Rapid Fire in the many venues listed in the bands calendar page on any
given weekend.
Eric Wasson / Lead Vocals & Rhythm Guitar
- Eric is a gemini who likes long walks on the beach, likes red wine and spends
alot of time in singles chat rooms online, telling women that he is 6' 4", weighs 275lbs, and can bench press 350lbs.
Eric works as a full time stripper, most of the time he works on the weekdays doing private jobs because the music gigs take
up most of the time during each weekend. LOL JUST KIDDING!!! Eric was born and raised in ABQ, New Mexico. Always liked
to sing but never really got into it until high school playing in Los Enamorados at Valley High School. Eric and former -RF-
bass player Daniel Solis started to write some original music and later asked Steve to play drums on the recording. From then
on Rapid Fire began. Eric was almost forced into playing guitar, he was taught a few chords and the rest is history (that's
why he is not very good LOL!!). Eric says his performance is influenced by Garth Brooks, Mark Miller from Sawyer Brown, Maroon
5 and many others. Come check out Eric along with his 4 brothas from other muthas, most weekends around the state.!!!!!!
Peter Baca / Keyboards & Vocals -
I am Peter Baca, keyboard player and singer with RF. I have been playing music most of my life. My experience in music has had me
playing with several bands. All these experiences have brought me to my destined group Rapid Fire. Early in my music career I had the opportunity to perform in Germany when I was in the army. We
were able to perform all over Germany and other surrounding army posts. These posts included Austria, Belgium,
France, Italy, Holland and West Berlin where we had the privilege to play. The
fun I have playing and singing with this group is something I have never experienced with other bands I have played with.
I do some writing including lyrics, music and arrangements. I also play other instruments including trumpet, drums, bass,
and guitar. My preferrence's are keyboards and vocals. Keep
your eyes and ears peeled for the up and coming sounds of Rapid Fire as we are excited and appreciative to be performing for
a multitude of venues. You are guaranteed to have a great time when you hear and see us. We never know what will be said but
it will be fun.
